This large heavy sterling silver ring is size 8 and has elongated diamond shaped abalone with a faceted glass/crystal dome on top. The ablone looks different colors in different light. It has blues, greens, pinks, black... The top is 28 mm long and 18 mm wide. The abalone is inlayed in silver all the way around. The photo looks like it was taken at an angle. I will try and get a top view of the ring asap. The size 8 weighs about 14 grams and the exact look of the abalone will vary.
